It’s finally time for me to write something real here. How’s this?
Tayler is the person behind TaylerInfomedia, a web development company. Between clients, he’s produced websites benefiting the deaf community: Relay Review, Gallaudet President Watch, deafologue, DeafThat!, DeafRead, DeafVIDEO.TV, Deaf-Tube, CalDeaf.com, and Fomdi.
Don’t like the third-person narrative? Here goes.
I am a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (Information Technology; B.S.) and Gallaudet University (Administration & Supervision; M.S.). I currently reside in Los Angeles with my wife, who many of you may know. If you think I’m not lazy, you don’t know her. That is, I am pale in comparison.
Why y3?
My full name is Brian Tayler Mayer. When my first name is spelled as Bryan, its most common variant, each of the three name’s third letter is ‘y’.
So you have it: Bryan Tayler Mayer
Oooh! How interesting. Anything else?
Add my birthdate and a year (two digits) to calculate my age. My birthday is December 12.
Example: 12 + 12 + 06 = 30
I turned 30 in the year of 2006. The “formula” works for any year in the 21st century.
A quick math quiz: To what age will I turn in 2012? (12+12+12)

(Click to enlarge) An article published in 1980 shows my mother taking me along for a protest at the Minnesota State Capitol.
The two signs my mother is holding read:
“HELP US BREAK THE COMMUNICATION BARRIER!”
“I’M YOUR FUTURE TAXPAYER”
