Just as HMB was lost and it’s strategic advantage, so will your future opportunities to make a difference if you do not disperse immediately. Faculty will not be expelled, alumni will not be expelled, but many bright students your future deaf leaders will be damaged if they are not allowed to return to Gallaudet.

You must fight the system of oppression as you call it, from within the gates.

Let alumni and faculty supporters block the gates if you must.

Do not surrender, but retreat and live to fight another day.

I suspect to many students this protest is ABOUT their future and the future of the University. As such your warning might not make an impression.

Gallaudet belongs to them, the Deaf, even though they are the minority when compared to the rest of the deaf/hoh population. Gallaudet is their HOME. Let them protest even though what they are doing may not be acceptable to some. Just let them be.

I’ve been arrested multiple times on peaceful protests. It’s nothing to worry about as long as you are calm and peaceful.

However, I’m concerned that they are arresting them on Friday night in order to hold them all weekend. It’s a typical police trick to pretend that there is no-one available to process the arrests till Monday morning.

Every peaceful protester arrested tonight has my full support. There is no shame in being arrested for standing up for something you believe is right. You guys are making history.

Colleges all over the country don’t see students as consumers. They see them as people who represent money in their pockets to contribute to what ever agenda the university or college has. Fortunatley this is changing, but only in the top tier of colleges, they are providing better housing and better realistic meal options along with general facilities that rival many corporations facilities. However when it comes to lower tier colleges or colleges with leaders who feel the students have no other options of the caliber in which they are receiving at that college or university, the leaders b.s. the students and do nothing for the campus or the students. Look at the public universities around the country. They have had to sep up their facilities and listen to what students want because of competition from the private sector. However look at Fisher College the first school to expel students for what they wrote on facebook about a security officer, but did not address the problems the students as whole had with the security officer who is still employed there. The school until very recently did not care about the quality of its food or housing until the students started demanding this, and as the school didnt and to a point still refuses to see the students as consumers. The Gallaudet students are not seen as consumers because there is only one other college exclusively for the deaf in the U.S. These students however are paying money to go to Gallaudet and are consumers and need to be listened to as without their money Gallaudet would shut down

The money is perhaps a reason behind this scene to cover the expenses of the DC metro police for their wasted time in showing up yesterday and today. Flying hands to the bravest protestors who are sacrificing their names on the criminal record; in exchange of this, their names ought to be written and recognized on the historical book in one day. They are indeed our heroes!

What you want to get more power over the world? There will be foolish to get power over the world; there is much other university is great like as TWICD, NTID and Community College. I know all the way that IKJ, JKF and Paul Kelly are hiding something that they have been doing illegally ( MONEY ) for a long time. IKJ is very determined not to let JKF go so no one will find out what they have been doing. SO PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP and JKF MUST GO !!!!!!!

Welcome to reality, there is no free rides, It s as if you wasted time protesting instead of majoring a career to become part of Gallaudet. That s why you cant blame Gallaudet because they cant find enough educated deaf person to run the University. I’ve seen enough that deaf community there are bunch of pathetic people blaming the system. Nobody can beat the system and you will have to work harder like the rest of the world to get there instead of waiting for it to come to you. Of course bein raised from deaf family, fluent in ASL, fluent in speech language I can understand music and enjoy it. Without Gallaudet I have been successful in life without “assisted-help” b.s. I could see so much stupidity going on just to sit & scream like bunch of morons gettin thrown in jail. It was a good laugh watching the news. I choosed to go to normal university than being racist screaming “deaf power”. I wouldnt care who runs the university as long they do the job right. JUST LEARN TO GET ALONG! I ve seen a bozo criticize Dr. Jane K. Fernandes about how she signed but look at this person acting out of stupidity. What is it to be angry for? I m appalled to see that the purpose of “DEAF” is so divided, we re supposed to unite all together no matter how the person is but it will benefit having many types of communications available. Gallaudet is filled with bunch of morons. Once you leave Gallaudet, everything changes and nothing will be same so how will you live your life. I know there will be alot angry people flaring their temper after they read this message, let me say this for once. TOO BAD! =)

To my fellow brothers and sisters in our fight against audism-

Seriously- it’s time to demand Jordan to resign too. He is no longer… Qualified to hold the position of president of Gallaudet… Well, he never was in the first place.

I think that it’s time to ridicule Jordan. At this moment, Jordan is as bad as Fernandes, if not, worse.

If Jordan is going to order arrests… Then the protestors needs to respond to this. Non-violently, of course. They need to IMMEDIATELY charge Jordan himself personally for the things that he has ordered- the “earth juice”, the DPS assaults, and so forth. He needs to BE CHARGED with a CRIME!

So, someone, press charges against Jordan and Gallaudet! Come on.

I’m rooting for you guys, all the way! UNITY FOR GALLAUDET!

If this shit goes on, my wife and I will take a few sick days at work and be coming up ourselves from New York State to support you guys! Let more Deafies come in droves!

Chant “FUCK YOU Audists!”, “FUCK YOU, Audists!”, etc etc.

Let’s start that at Gallaudet? If this was made clear- that audism was a central theme to everything, it’ll explain the diversity of protestors’ complaints. It all boils down to audism. Let’s bring that to the front lines… So, that the public can UNDERSTAND… That if they are supporting the administration, they are also supporting and taking part in audism.

    Say “NO to AUDISM!”
