Ella come back!

Ella, I strongly urge you to return to your post as CAD secretary. First, you walkout of DeafVIDEO.TV, and you’re now abandoning your elected position at CAD. You were nominated and elected by people who believed in you. You’ve been a long-time CAD board member. I admire your passion for Deafhood Foundation, but what are fellow deafhooders to think if you are not keeping your commitment? What are they to think about your commitment to deafhood?

Remember when we both flew to NTID last year October for a technology symposium. We were panelists along with Barb Digi to dissect the impact of blogs and vlogs on the deaf community. On Saturday night, following a Deafhood workshop at the Rochester deaf club (Yes, they still have one and it’s beautiful–I loved the club President. He is awesome.), we bumped into each other in the hotel lobby. It was late at night. Two hours flew by as you described your dream for CAD. “It needs a vast re-structuring,” you said. I could not help but stand there in awe of your determination and conviction.
