Use it or Lose it

YouTube has both a subscription service and block feature. Facebook allows you to choose who your friends are. Twitter can be either public or private.

DeafRead has DeafRead Hide. Once you hide a blog, you do not see its posts as long as you are signed in. DeafVIDEO.TV has a block feature that prevents a person from video commenting under your vlogs, their vlogs doesn’t appear on the site, and their video comments doesn’t appear to the blocker under other vlogs.

There are people who refuse to use the features on DeafRead and DeafVIDEO.TV. Why?

They know that they stand no chance in changing the minds of YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. I’ve listened and made changes accordingly. They see that this is possible so rather than use what the sites offer, they instead try to change minds.

And when I don’t do exactly what they want, I am accused of not listening. Even when a compromise is implemented.
