After 8 years, AGBell plaque removed from NTID!

RIT’s student publication “Reporter” printed my op/ed “Giving Faulty Praise: Alexander Graham Bell” on April 14, 2000.

With the momentum picking up on the Internet, particularly with the Orange-Brown Coalition blog and petition, I re-started my writing campaign with these posts.

Also in summer of 2007, R.A.R. Edwards wrote an article, “Chasing Aleck: The Story of a Dorm”. The Public Historian, Vol. 29, No. 3 pp 87-104. The groundbreaking academic paper mentions my name near the end. Download PDF

I would like to personally thank Patti Durr, Ruth Jordan, Alan Hurwitz, Dr. Rebecca Edwards and many others! It is often through working together that we can see positive change!
